Great Lakes Initiative for Human Rights Development
The Great Lakes Initiative for Human Rights and Development (GLIHD) is national non-governmental organization registered and operating in accordance with the Rwandan law governing the organization and functioning of national non-governmental organizations.
The organization’s team is constituted by lawyers with considerable expertise and background in legal work. It is a public interest organization in the sense that it caries activities in development of various sectors including civil society, social welfare,science, culture and human rights.
It is a non-profit making organization in the sense that it uses its revenues even the surplus revenues to achieve its goals rather than distributing them as profit or dividends
